• The fifth edition of the symposium aims at presenting original research work and experiences in the field of distance learning and education, including content design, tutoring, Intelligent Tutoring Systems, instructional design, theories of learning, assessment, evaluation of content, online education programs, learning technology standards, etc. Furthermore, subjects related to web and networking technologies, modeling and protocols are within the scope of the symposium. The semantic web, ontologies, wired and wireless network technologies are just examples of relevant topics.
